Mexican ultra-low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus has announced that it will begin offering nonstop flights from Austin, Texas, to Monterrey, Mexico, starting in March 2024. The new year-round service will operate four days per week, making Viva Aerobus the 22nd airline and seventh international carrier to operate out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The airline’s CEO, Juan Carlos Zuazua, stated that the new route will provide Austin and Central Texas passengers with a wide range of connecting flights to over 30 key destinations in Mexico.
