One-Third of European Air Bookings Through NDC Seen by Navan

In May, Navan, a travel management company, reported that 31% European corporate airline bookings were conducted through NDC-enabled channels, up from 20% a year prior. Navan’s NDC connections currently partner with 12 European airlines, with the most NDC bookings arising from Germany. This increase was primarily due to bookings with Lufthansa Group carriers and KLM. France and the Netherlands both reported 31% of corporate bookings through NDC, while it was 29% in the UK, led by British Airways. Navan’s analysis indicated that nearly 57% of fares from top European airlines might no longer be available on legacy distribution EDIFACT-based channels, depending on the route.
