Travelport and Emirates have rolled out Emirates’ NDC (New Distribution Capability) content and services on the Travelport+ platform. This applies everywhere except South Africa currently. The integration allows agencies using Travelport+ unparalleled access to Emirates’ dynamic NDC offers and ancillaries, offering a more personalised experience for their customers. The system also allows agents to modify and cancel NDC bookings. NDC is a travel industry-supported program launched by IATA for the development and market adoption of a new, XML-based data transmission standard that enhances the capability of communications between airlines and travel agents. This integration aligns with modern industry trends, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to offering enriched content and Travelport’s dedication to driving agency retailing capability. To summarise, this collaboration aims to provide a seamless retailing experience and a wider range of offers to agents and their customers.
