Bubble travel, “workcations”, indulgent getaways and a new breed of sustainably-conscious traveller will “spark new life into travel”, according Amadeus.
Clare De Bono, head of prime customer and traveller solutions for the travel technology company, said the trends show “clear indications of what hope might lie in store” for the future of global travel.
Bubble travel allows open travel corridors between nations, such as Australia and New Zealand.
Hotels are also reportedly promoting themselves as bubble resorts, allowing guests to travel together in groups as long as they have a negative Covid test.
