Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) has announced a trial of the new network service “NexusWave,” developed by Inmarsat Maritime.
According to K LINE’s statement, this service integrates multiple high-speed networks in real time to enable continuous ship-to-shore communication, enhancing digitalization in ship operations, improving environmental responsiveness, and supporting the welfare of seafarers. The trial is set to commence in October.
