San Francisco-based digital marketing platform, Sojern, has released new travel data in the run-up to the 2024 Summer Olympics. The event is scheduled to take place in Paris, France, from 26 July to 11 August and will involve 10,500 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees around the world. It will be the biggest event ever held in France. Notably, ad spending linked to major sporting events like the Super Bowl and the Olympics is set to reach $61 billion this year, showing how these high-profile events are not only beneficial for advertising revenue but also cause an impressive spike in travel demands.
