Travelport on Wednesday launched Travelport+, a platform that it says includes a more simplified interface with richer content and capabilities.
Travelport+ offers more dynamic and differentiated content from multiple sources and is faster and more frictionless than the company’s previous platform, Travelport said. It includes NDC content, air-ticket exchange tools and a point-of-sale solution for travel agents.
Travelport said the platform’s “better retailing and merchandising capabilities” will lead to higher-value bookings. New merchandising capabilities will enable retailers to cross-sell and upsell through dynamic offers.
