That’s the premise of Chris Pratt’s new movie “The Tomorrow War.” He plays Dan Forester, a veteran who’s living a quiet life as a schoolteacher with a beautiful family. In the movie’s universe, that’s a double deferment (military and education), so he’s not required to join the new fight.
But he does join the fight, because who wants to watch a movie where Chris Pratt doesn’t splatter the alien menace? The movie is coming to Amazon Prime on July 2nd and they’ve just released a trailer.
