Over Half of Online Travel Businesses Struggle to Find Qualified Payments Partners
New data from Thredd, a leading next-generation payments processor, reveals that over half (60 percent) of OTA’s struggle to find qualified payment partners with the necessary expertise to support and guide them.
Globally, B2B travel transaction volumes are projected to reach $1.7 trillion by 2027 with the APAC region in the lead as the fastest-growing market expected to reach $480 billion in the same year. The opportunity is ripe for payment players who can solve common payment challenges.
Thredd interviewed several clients as part of the report including leading cross border and travel payments businesses, Nium and Caxton.
