CellPoint Digital and Sabre are pairing up to give Sabre customers access to CellPoint Digital’s payment services.
The idea behind the partnership between the technology provider and the airline payment solution provider is to give Sabre’s customer base more control and grant efficiency in their payment ecosystems across the globe.
Kristian Gjerding, CellPoint Digital’s CEO, said that the partnership marks a “significant milestone” in its mission to boost connectivity and support the travel industry.

“By joining forces with one of the most recognizable brands in travel, we can help more airlines and travel merchants regain control of their payment processes and full financial supply chain, as well as expand the reach of payment orchestration in the travel sector,” Gjerding said.
The companies have planned for a “seamless integration” of CellPoint Digital’s payment services with Sabre’s technology solutions. The payment services will be connected directly and also pre-configured for airline merchants and travel companies involved.
Becky French, vice president of product management for Sabre Travel Solutions, said that Sabre is thrilled about the partnership and said it will “make it easier for our customers to access their payment orchestration solutions.”
