The recent survey, conducted for TTG’s Agenda 2024 Summer Breakfast, polled 2,000 UK consumers and found that most intend to maintain or increase their holiday spending in relation to 2023 levels, with only 18% planning to decrease their travel budget. Findings mirror those of the June 2023 study, suggesting sustained demand for travel and holidays. 25% of respondents considered travel as their foremost priority. The major impediments to travel, as identified by respondents, were cost (32%), household finances (22%) and airport delays (10%).
