Guam’s economy has not fully recovered from the pandemic but Guam Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Ernie Galito remains optimistic about 2025.
“Overall, Guam is still in recovery. We haven’t really recovered since 2019, and 2020 is when COVID struck,” Galito told Pacific Daily News after delivering his chairman’s address at the general membership meeting.
Guam’s tourism recovery is among the slowest in the world, with visitor arrivals still below half of pre-pandemic levels.
