Thomas More Society attorneys are pleased to announce a successful conclusion to the lawsuit against New York City’s “vaccine passport” regime.
The enforcement of the discriminatory restrictions titled the “Key to NYC,” has stopped. With a hearing on a preliminary injunction request looming, the city ended the restrictions on March 7, 2022, exactly one month after Thomas More Society attorneys filed suit against New York City.
Mayor de Blasio introduced the discriminatory “vaccine passport,” and his successor Mayor Adams continued to enforce, what Thomas More Society Special Counsel Christopher Ferrara called “an absolutely unprecedented ban on access to both public and private premises comprising virtually the whole of social life unless vaccinated.”
