An Air Canada flight that was supposed to make a three-hour flight from Toronto to Vancouver on Monday instead spent almost seven hours in the air, and ended up back where it started.
Flight AC698 left Toronto at 9:43 p.m. Monday, according to data from FlightAware , an international organization that specializes in flight tracking data. That was actually two minutes ahead of schedule. But trouble occurred on approach to the airport, which like much of Eastern Canada was in the grip of a major storm.
