Air India increases UK, Europe bag fees

Flag carrier Air India has raised some baggage fees on long haul flights to the UK and Europe.

It affects passengers with a second checked bag.

The airline says the new fees are in line with many other international carriers.

The change is part of its rebranded ‘fare families’ which were rolled out last month.

The ‘Value’ fare option offers one piece of checked baggage up to 23kg.
