New Delhi: Many, including celebrities, have called out airline staff members for mishandling passengers’ belongings in the past. However, nothing seems to have changed. Air India staff mishandles baggage
A man named Ishwar Dwivedi shared the video on Instagram. He captioned it, “Air India, Ratan Tata, is this the way you handle fragile items?” The video showcased two airline staff members throwing one bag after another. The man in the video is heard saying, “Air India, thank you for this. This was my bag.”
Unsurprisingly, the video miffed many and netizens did not shy away from rebuking the airline and the staff. One wrote, “Air India, please take action against these workers.” A second individual wrote, “These people have broken so many bags of mine. This is what they teach ground staff in training. I don’t know when this will also be done automatically. Is there anyone who can start this work automatically?”
Netizens react to Air India staff mishandling luggage
Another stated, “@airindia I will never use your flight next time! Dissatisfied.” Meanwhile, there were a few who empathised with the workers, stating that they would have been tired of loading and unloading baggage the entire day. “This is not something specific to Air India. Also, the baggage handlers are humans who lift bags all day long,” wrote one. Another said, “Brother, this is right, but if any workers keep lifting so much weight throughout the day, then people look for shortcuts, and they keep working all day. If you are also there, you will do the same.”
The clip was viewed about 10 million times.
