Lucknow: Air India Express began new direct flight services to Muscat and Dammam from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) on Saturday.“The flight will fulfil Lucknow airport’s focus to offer seamless connectivity to passengers flying to Oman and Saudi Arabia. The first flight to Muscat with 77 passengers took off at 7:30am while 123 passengers arrived in the return flight at 3:30pm,” a CCSIA spokesperson said.“The first flight to Dammam took off with 171 passengers at 7:50pm Friday and 103 passengers came in the return flight at 6:30am on Saturday,” the official said. These are the new routes for Air India Express from Lucknow. With this, the number of international flights has risen from 26 to 30 at Lucknow airport.“The addition of international flights shows airport authorities’ commitment to connect Lucknow with more international destinations,” the statement from CCSIA said.The daily non-stop flight from Lucknow to Muscat will depart at 7:30am while the flight to Dammam will take off at 7:50pm.
