Noida Police obtained a 48-hour police custody remand of two accused, identified as Kuldeep and Abdul Qadir, the two shooters who killed Suraj Mann, an Air India crew member and brother of gangster Pravesh Mann, in a gang rivalry on January 19 in Kotwali Sector-39 area. They were arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police after an encounter near Sarai Kale Khan on January 22.
Police stated that the accused confessed that they were paid Rs 50,000 each and promised to be sent abroad and given jobs by a person who contacted them on the Signal app with the ID name Radhe-Radhe.
The accused said they carried out the murder due to the long feud between Lawrence Bishnoi-Jitendra alias Gogi and Kapil alias Kallu Kheda and Neeraj Bawana-Pravesh Mann gangs, according to police. Police said Suraj Mann was a key member of the Neeraj Bawana gang and his brother Pravesh Mann is lodged in Tihar jail in an MCOCA case in Delhi.

Noida Police had been trying for several days to take the shooters on remand and had asked for 14 days, but got only 48 hours, which started at 9 am on Saturday. Police will soon bring gangster Kapil Mann on remand as well.
Noida Police arrested three accused in this case, while two shooters have been arrested by Delhi Police. Police are still looking for the third shooter and will question the shooter about his name and address during PCR. The shooters are using crutches as they were injured by bullets in the encounter with Delhi Police. The remand will end at 9 am on Monday.
