AirAsia appoints Riad Asmat to board of advisors – Travel And Tour World

AirAsia Aviation Group has announced Riad Asmat appointment to its Board of Advisors concurrent with his stepping down from the role of Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad (AirAsia Malaysia), effective December 31, 2023.

Riad strategic vision and exceptional leadership have been pivotal in steering the airline through the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. His guidance has not only sustained the airline during these unprecedented times but has also positioned it for a promising trajectory in the post-pandemic era.

While stepping into his advisory role, Riad will maintain his position on the boards of AirAsia Berhad and Ground Team Red. Additionally, he will be involved in consultancy work for Capital A Aviation Services.
