Filipino and foreign travelers alike spend money and allot their vacation leaves to enjoy summer on their favorite island destinations. As reflected in AirAsia’s bookings as of 1 April 2024, the airline has already surpassed 60% of its 2023 summer bookings for all destinations which translates to an average healthy load factor of 87% for the months of April and May. Top destinations of choice include Bohol, Boracay, Cebu, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Bangkok, Incheon, Taipei, Osaka, and Hong Kong.
