Capital A Berhad, the holding company of AirAsia, has launched airasia brand co., a new entity that aims to expand the reach of the AirAsia brand globally. The new entity will be led by Rudy Khaw as CEO and Capital A CEO Tony Fernandes as Chairman, and will take ownership of the Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio of the Capital A Group, including all brands and marks. The primary focus of abc. will be on strategic brand licensing, brand collaboration and merchandising in the travel-related and lifestyle sectors, as well as content creation to amplify exposure and reach wider audiences. The launch of airasia brand co. is a significant milestone for the company, and is expected to set new benchmarks in brand development and extend the brand’s relevance beyond aviation.
