AirAsia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia’s (UYFC) #BeyondTheGames initiative, in support of the Kingdom hosting the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2023. This marks the first SEA Games to be hosted by Cambodia. The MoU includes a commercial collaboration and strategic partnership between AirAsia and UYFC’s #BeyondTheGames. This includes integrating AirAsia’s brand across the campaign. To support the initiative, AirAsia Malaysia’s extensive domestic and international routes, particularly in the ASEAN region, will feature the #BeyondTheGames livery to promote Cambodia’s tourism sector beyond the sporting event. AirAsia Malaysia flies 22 weekly flights to Cambodia. Cyril Girot, CEO of Cambodia Airports, which operates the country’s international airports, thanked the company for involving the airport teams in the campaign and aims to offer the same level of airport experience for SEA Games visitors and delegations from 11 countries as it did during the ASEAN Summit and meetings in 2022.
