Craven County, NC —
A boost in daily flights for one regional airline here in Eastern Carolina was announced due to a growing demand for air travel in the region.
Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) announced that American Airlines are expanding the number of daily flights connecting travelers through Charlotte to destinations around the world.
American Airlines will offer six daily flights, according to airport officials.
“We’re pleased to announce the increased frequency of flights by American Airlines at EWN. This expansion signifies our airport’s growing appeal and underscores our commitment to providing enhanced travel options for our passengers. We look forward to continuing to foster strong partnerships with the airlines and serving our community’s evolving needs.” said Airport Director Andrew Shorter.
“American is delighted to welcome customers on our six daily flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This summer, EWN’s largest carrier will offer local residents convenient one-stop connections to more than 170 destinations across our comprehensive global network,” said Joe Sottile, American Airlines Director of Shorthaul Network Planning.
Travelers are encouraged to book early, and flights are already available.
