Orlando airport to see accelerated return of international travel with lifted Covid rules
The recent elimination of the U.S. policy for international travelers to get a negative Covid test before flights already is paying off for some airlines — and it has great potential for Orlando travel. United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAL) said searches for international travel increased after the requirement was dropped, according to a Reuters report. “United Airlines, which has the biggest exposure to the international traffic among major U.S. carriers, said it has seen more than 2.4 million searches for international travel in the past 72 hours, a 7% increase from the week prior.”
