Delta Air Lines recently made changes to one of its longest domestic routes. The legacy carrier no longer deploys its Boeing 767-300ERs between Detroit and Honolulu, opting to replace the equipment with an Airbus widebody.
The move represents an increase in capacity on the route. This month, Delta will offer nearly 2,000 more seats between the destinations compared to the same period last year – despite operating six fewer frequencies this year.
