- The Dallas City Council will try to tackle redistricting on Monday during a special meeting. The council has been working to approve a redistricting map but has failed multiple times. The map will require 12 votes to be approved. If the council is not able to vote on a map by next Wednesday, then the map that was presented in May will be adopted by default. - Delta Airlines has won the right to operate at Dallas Love Field for another six years. The airline entered into a settlement agreement with the Dallas City Council this week after a long argument with Southwest Airlines.
