Emirates is set to introduce a second daily Airbus A380 flight to Vienna International Airport (VIE), effective December 1, 2024. This expansion is in response to increasing demand for travel to and from Austria, aiming to offer enhanced capacity and greater choice for passengers.
The new service, flight EK127, will depart Dubai (DXB) at 08:55 and arrive in Vienna at 12:00. The return flight, EK128, will depart Vienna at 15:10, arriving back in Dubai at 00:20 the following day. This addition complements Emirates’ existing daily A380 service to Vienna, which operates as flight EK129 departing Dubai at 14:30 and arriving at 17:35, with the return flight EK130 departing Vienna at 21:10 and arriving in Dubai at 06:10 the next day.
With two daily A380 flights, Emirates will significantly boost connectivity between Vienna and its extensive global network. This move aims to further support business and leisure travelers by providing more flexible travel options and increased capacity on the route, contributing to tourism and trade for Austria.
