flydubai will begin offering complimentary meals and in-flight entertainment on all economy fares starting November 1. This initiative aims to provide enhanced value and choice for passengers, streamlining the customer journey.

The airline is introducing two new bundled fare options for economy class: “Flex” and “Value.” Both of these new bundles will include a meal, checked baggage, and in-flight entertainment. The “Lite” fare, which was a basic option without checked baggage, a meal, or entertainment, will be retired.

Under the new structure, the “Flex” fare will allow passengers to make changes to their booking without incurring a fee. The “Value” fare will also permit changes, though these will be subject to a fee. Passengers will still have the option to purchase additional services, such as preferred seats or extra baggage, should they require them. It is noted that Business Class fares already include complimentary meals and in-flight entertainment.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, emphasized that these changes were implemented to simplify the customer journey, offer greater value, and provide more choice to travelers, aligning with customer feedback.
