Hoax Bomb Threat Causes Diversion of Indigo Flight at Hyderabad Airport
An Indigo flight experienced a mid-air diversion to Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday following a bomb threat. The threat, which turned out to be a hoax, caused significant alarm and led to the emergency landing of the aircraft.
The flight, operating from Chennai to Nagpur, was rerouted to Hyderabad after airport authorities received an anonymous bomb threat. Upon receiving the alert, security protocols were immediately activated at Hyderabad Airport.
