Travellers can look forward to the relaxation of travel rules as we head into November, with all countries set to be removed from the red list.
Hotel quarantine will no longer be necessary for fully-vaccinated arrivals from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, and Venezuela.
Grant Shapps, Transport Secretary, announced on Thursday (October 28) that the red list would be scrapped.

Mr Shapps announced in a Tweet: “All seven remaining countries on the red list will be removed from Monday, November 1 at 4am.
“We can also confirm that from Monday, eligible travellers from over 30 new countries and territories including Peru and Uganda will be added to our inbound vax policy, bringing the total number of countries on this list to over 135.”
The inbound vaccination list refers to the list of countries and territories with approved COVID-19 proof of vaccination for travel to England. Mr Shapps’ latest update means that more tourists from other countries will be able to come to the UK if they are fully vaccinated.

He added: “We will keep the red list category in place as a precautionary measure to protect public health and are prepared to add countries and territories back if needed, as the UK’s first line of defence.”
For now, no countries will be on the red list, but there are still rules to follow depending on your destination. For example, if travelling to Spain, you are required to present a pre-travel declaration form and either a negative coronavirus test or proof of vaccination.
