Changes to the red list and a relaxation of travel rules in the UK have made life easier for people looking to get away this half-term.
The UK’s red list has been reduced to just seven countries – Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela – while testing rules have eased significantly for those seeking to jet off.
The day two PCR test required when returning to England was replaced with a lateral flow test on October 24, meaning that holidaymakers can get their return test from £22 – making the testing process much cheaper.

However, people looking to get away for some winter sun will still have to comply with a number of regulations – there are forms to fill out, Covid tests to take and proof of vaccination to show.
Additionally, plenty of travel advice is in place for destinations across the globe – individual countries have their own rules for allowing visitors.
