People looking to book Jet2 holidays this summer can now add Croatia and Bulgaria to the list of holiday hotspots on offer after the latest green list update.
However, there has been a blow for holidaymakers heading to the Balearic Islands, which have been moved to the amber travel list.
Spain’s tourist hotspots of Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera will be removed from the green list from Monday due to rising coronavirus cases.
Jet2, which has a base at Leeds Bradford Airport, has confirmed it will still be flying to its destinations on the amber list from Monday July 19.
However, it’s not all bad news as Croatia and Bulgaria will go green, meaning arrivals to the UK will not have to self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of their vaccine status.
Hong Kong and Taiwan will also be added to the green list, while the British Virgin Islands will go amber.

Cuba, Indonesia, Myanmar and Sierra Leone will be added to the red list, meaning 10 days of isolation in a quarantine hotel are mandatory.

But the change will coincide with the end of the need to quarantine for the fully-vaccinated UK residents and the under 18s when returning from amber list nations.
