There have been many changes to the travel list since it was first introduced and the most dramatic of those have been coming in recent months.
The next big change that has come is Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has announced all remaining countries on England’s red list for international travel will be removed.
This means it will be a little bit easier to travel now, although many countries have rules for UK travellers.

Those arriving from countries previously on the red list will no longer have to spend 11 nights in a quarantine hotel at a cost of £2,285, reports LancsLive.
This latest travel update will come as welcomed news to many travellers who have struggled to jet off abroad this past year.
The Cabinet minister has announced that the countries of Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela will be taken off the list at 4am on November 1.

Mr Shapps said what many had expected in tweeting: “We will keep the red list category in place as a precautionary measure to protect public health and are prepared to add countries and territories back if needed, as the UK’s first line of defence.”
He added that from Monday, the Government will recognise coronavirus vaccines for arrivals from more than 30 new countries and territories including Peru and Uganda, bringing the total in excess of 135.
