BROOKLYN, NY – In federal court, Julien Levy and Keily Nunez have been sentenced to 20 and 40 months in prison, respectively, for their roles in a scheme defrauding JetBlue Airways of approximately $10 million. The sentencing was announced by Breon Peace, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and Ivan J. Arvelo, Special Agent-in-Charge at Homeland Security Investigations.
Levy and Nunez each pleaded guilty to charges of committing honest services wire fraud, with their guilty pleas entered in June and July 2023, respectively. Their fraudulent activities involved diverting airline part contracts to companies they controlled, significantly impacting JetBlue’s operations and finances.
