JetBlue Airways announced multiple executive appointments and promotions on Tuesday.
Andrea Lusso, the airline’s vice president for network planning, was promoted to the position of vice president for enterprise planning.
Mr. Lusso, who joined JetBlue in 2012 as a senior analyst, previously held various positions relating to route planning, network planning, and market planning. He is a graduate of the Liceo Scientifico Giuseppe Peano in Monterotondo, which is part of Rome, from 2003 to 2007, and later obtained an MBA at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
The carrier appointed Dave John, the company’s vice president for operational planning and analysis, to the position of vice president for network planning and partnerships.
Mr. John has held several managerial positions at United Airlines before joining JetBlue in 2017 as part of a career in the industry that spans three decades. He attended the Wharton School as an undergraduate and earned an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
