NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 28 – Kenya Airways (KQ) has increased its weekly flights to London in the United Kingdom to 14 from 10 amid growing demand for the route.
The airline will fly from Nairobi to the UK’s capital city on one to two flights daily, effective tomorrow.
Flyers will have the option of either traveling in the morning or evening daily.
“The additional weekly flights will cater to the increased market demand for the route and growing passenger demand,” read a statement shared by KQ.
The route will be served by a Boeing B787 Dreamliner.
In 2021, the national carrier rolled out three flights to London after Kenya was removed from a red list by the UK.
The country was removed from the barred list of airlines alongside Bangladesh, Egypt, the Maldives, Omar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Turkey.
