Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is set to introduce a new digital travel pass system during the latter half of this year. This initiative is designed to significantly enhance convenience for tourists and promote a broader range of cultural experiences across Jeju Island.

The forthcoming travel pass will be fully integrated into the Tamnao mobile application, functioning as an all-encompassing platform for visitors. It aims to provide numerous advantages, including various discounts on attractions, food and beverage establishments, and accommodation services.

A core component of the pass is its extensive connectivity with various transportation options. Travelers will have access to and be able to utilize public transportation, taxis, car rentals, and bike rentals directly through the system. Beyond practical convenience, the pass is also intended to spotlight Jeju’s rich cultural and artistic offerings, enabling visitors to engage with unique local experiences. The system will support easy payments via QR codes and offer real-time information, collectively working to elevate the overall travel experience on the island.
