Korean Air Waives Cambodia Flight Cancellation Fees

Korean Air announced it would waive cancellation and change fees for all flights to Cambodia, including routes to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. This decision was made in response to the Cambodian government’s ban on passenger arrivals.

The fee waiver applies to passengers with tickets for flights scheduled to depart between October 26 and December 20, 2022. To be eligible, passengers must apply for cancellations or changes by October 25, 2022. The Cambodian government’s travel ban was effective for the period from October 26 to November 9, 2022. Korean Air’s waiver period extends beyond the government’s initial ban.

Customers can change their tickets for a new departure date as late as December 31, 2022. If the new flight ticket has a higher fare or if the flight route is changed, passengers will be required to pay the difference in the fare. This waiver policy is applicable only to tickets that were issued on or before October 24, 2022.
