Korean Air announced on Friday that it will operate a charter flight to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon from September 11th to October 25th, 2024.
During this period, flight KE921 from Incheon to Lisbon and flight KE922 from Lisbon to Incheon will operate three times a week, totaling 20 round-trip flights. The flights will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, returning to Incheon the following day. The aircraft deployed for these flights will be the Boeing 787-9 with a total of 269 seats. With this charter flight, Korean Air will be the sole Northeast Asian airline to offer a direct flight to Lisbon.
Lisbon, a popular destination in southern Europe, is described by Korean Air as a city where travelers can relax and sightsee, thanks to its beaches and various UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Tickets for the Lisbon charter flights can be purchased via Korean Air’s website, mobile app, and travel agencies, just like regular airline tickets. Korean Air plans to continue operating these charter flights into the winter season following the current schedule.
