Wide Open Award Space: Book Free Tickets Flying Qatar Airways QSuites, World’s Best Business Class
Qatar has one of the best business class product in the world in its ‘QSuites’ that offer doors and movable partitions that allow two and even four passengers to travel together in their own space. Their QSuite is a fantastic hard product, and service and food in the air are outstanding.
Qatar flights from Dallas, Houston, Washington Dulles and New York JFK in February and March 2025. There is also space out of Miami, Chicago and Atlanta. This is basically towards the end of the schedule, when Qatar has traditionally released award seats. This award space was first spotted by @findflightsforme.
When Qatar connected with British Airways and partners (they’re the largest owner of the group) they committed to making award space available when schedules are released, which had often been their practice to begin with. But now, like British Airways, they’re restricting that space so that only those using Avios from BA, Qatar, and others can access it. Oddly, JetBlue has access also. American AAdvantage and Alaska Airlines do not.
The good news is that all credit card transferable points can be used to move miles into these programs. And you can use this for travel from the U.S. to Doha and onward to the Mideast, India, the Maldives and even to Africa.

For what it’s worth, if you’re flying to Doha I’d suggest turning it into a 48 hour stopover – just enough for a visit to the Museum of Islamic Art.
Depending on where you’re flying, prices will vary, but across BA, Qatar and JetBlue points prices start at 70,000 each way. Avios programs charge around $100 in taxes (so no huge fuel surcharges).
