PM ‘not aware’ of any flight upgrade requests by his staff for him

Anthony Albanese says he is not aware of any cases were his staff sought upgrades on Qantas flights during his time in politics.

On ABC radio, he was pressed on whether staffers might have sought preferential treatment on his behalf.

The questions come as the opposition signals it will use this week’s sittings of parliament and Senate estimates hearings to find out if the government was swayed on a bid by Qatar to fly more international flights into Australia by perks from Qantas…
