The cargo airline Qatar Airways Cargo transported around 2.800 tonnes of cut roses from Kenya and South America to the main sales markets in time for Valentine’s Day. Almost 1.600 tonnes were exported from Nairobi alone, while around 1.200 tonnes were delivered from Bogotá and Quito to regions such as Amsterdam, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
