- Qatar Airways is getting close to deciding on a major widebody order split between Boeing (NYSE:BA) and Airbus (OTCPK:EADSY) (OTCPK:EADSF), Bloomberg News reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.
- The carrier is weighing an order of 200 jets, including Airbus A350s and Boeing 777X models. The decision may come as soon as the Farnborough Air Show, according to the report. The conference will be held July 21-23 in Britain.
- Airbus (OTCPK:EADSY) (OTCPK:EADSF) and Boeing (BA) declined to comment to Bloomberg News, while Qatar Airways wasn’t immediately available for comment.
