United Airlines has confirmed that it will not be providing service to and from Israel until early June.
In a statement issued today, the airline said it intends to hold off on providing daily flights to Tel Aviv in Israel until June 9. In addition, the carrier’s second daily Tel Aviv flight will be canceled through June 19.
“We
continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions on
upcoming flights with a focus on the safety of our customers and crews,” per the airline’s statement today.
United Airlines announced on April 19, after Israel’s attack on Iran, that it would cancel daily flights between New Jersey and Tel Aviv until May 2. The airline’s flight suspension was later pushed to May 9.
