United Airlines is expanding its network across the Pacific region, with a particular focus on the Philippines, according to country manager for sales Pamela Navarro.
Speaking at the sidelines of the Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) in Taguig City, Navarro said the airline intends to launch more than three daily flights between Manila and Guam, increase service between San Francisco and Manila and introduce a new service connecting Cebu and Narita, Japan by year-end.
United will become the first US airline to connect Cebu in the Philippines with the US mainland via Narita connection, she said.
Overall weekly flight operations to and from the Philippines will jump from the 16 to 23 by year-end, she said.
