United has unveiled plans to introduce over 100 new flights to various destinations in the U.S. and Canada during the upcoming summer season. This initiative aims to facilitate travelers in reaching some of the most scenic spots in North America, including Anchorage and Fairbanks in Alaska, as well as Canadian cities like Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
The airline observed a heightened demand for outdoor travel and exploration of picturesque destinations, such as national parks and mountain towns, amid the pandemic. Anticipating the continuation of this trend in the current year, United is set to operate its most extensive schedule to Alaska in the last ten years, coupled with a substantial expansion of flights between the U.S. and Canada.
