Low-cost airline VietJet has launched in the Australian market, offering $200 flights from Australia to Vietnam. The carrier, which has been established in Asia for some time, has direct flights from Melbourne and Sydney to Ho Chi Minh, with flights from Brisbane set to begin in June. The flights include all taxes and fees. Passengers can purchase food and amenities kits, and those in premium economy are given priority check-in, a higher baggage allowance and extra leg room. Sale fares include one free 7kg carry on bag with an additional 2kg personal item. Seats are fixed on the front row of the cabin, although upgrades to business class are also available.
