Vietjet Air, a Vietnamese low-cost carrier, has reported revenue of VND12.6tn ($537.38m) for Q1 2023, as it operated over 31,000 flights and served 5.4 million passengers during the period. Vietjet reopened its Ho Chi Minh City-Hong Kong route in early 2023, with seven flights per week. The airline has also added more wide-body A330 aircraft to cater to the expanding regional and global routes. In April, Vietnam’s low-cost airline announced flights to Melbourne and Sydney, further expanding its international flight network with the addition of new routes by June.
