Australians, get ready for a new service to Vietnam. Vietjet has announced it will commence nonstop flights between Sydney and Hanoi on 8 June this year.
Its seventh route between Australia and Vietnam, the new twice-weekly service will depart Sydney every Thursday and Sunday at 8.30am (local time), arriving in Hanoi at 4pm (local time).
Return flights will depart the Vietnamese capital on Wednesday and Saturday at 5.10pm (local time) and touch down in the NSW capital at 6.10am (local time).
In a recent interview with Karryon, Vietjet Group Vice President Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh said along with the Sydney-Hanoi service, there were possibly more new Aussie routes to come for the airline.
“This is the plan for this year. And we hope that we can have good opportunities to open more from Hanoi to another destination as well to connect the two biggest cities of Vietnam with the five biggest cities of Australia,” she…
