Vietnamese airline Vietjet is offering a new travel insurance programme for passengers on direct flights between Vietnam and Australia. The Sky Care package covers medical expenses arising from accidents or illnesses, flight-related problems and global medical support services. The insurance is valid for all ticket classes and carries up to VND100m ($4,200) in benefits. The flights between Melbourne and HCM City will run on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from HCM City to Melbourne on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Sydney and HCM City route will operate three times a week in each direction, while the Brisbane route begins in June 2023, with four flights per week on Mondays and Fridays.
